QTES in 7 Answers
What clients ask before they join, in seven short answers. Each one takes a minute or two to read.
QTES is our own trading engine. It manages portfolios built around Bitcoin, with Swiss franc cash, gold and short-term Swiss bonds next to it.
It follows fixed written rules, rebalances four times a year and reports every decision with its reason.
We accept qualified investors under Swiss law. New clients come through an introduction from an existing client or a partner bank.
The first meeting takes place in Zürich or by video call.
QTES rebalances on the first working day of each quarter, and when a holding moves outside its set range.
It never uses leverage and never uses derivatives to speculate.
The keys are split over three vaults in Zürich, Geneva and Zug. None of them is ever online.
Every transfer needs three of five keyholders to sign. No single person can move client Bitcoin.
Each statement lists the addresses that hold your Bitcoin. You can check them in any public block explorer, at any time.
Client assets are kept apart from company assets. A written plan describes how they return to clients if QTES stops operating.
Your username and first password arrive by registered post. Use the Login button at the top of every page.
Statements are ready on the tenth working day after each quarter ends. You can ask for one at any time.
Send a signed request to your adviser. We pay out in Swiss francs or in Bitcoin within five working days.
There is no lock-up period and no exit fee.
